The Asian Indoor Games 200910 September 2009 Paul has just confirmed his latest job as Lighting Designer for the Opening Ceremony of the Asian Indoor Games 2009. With the theme of 'A Rising Asia', the Games will welcome 800 referees, 5,000 athletes and coaches from 45 countries and territories, participating in 44 events. Vietnam is hosting the Games, schelduled to be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from November 2-11, 2009. The Doha Tribeca Film Festival 20095 August 2009Nigel is looking forward to working on the The Doha Tribeca Film Festival n Qatar from October 29 to November 1, 2009. The Festival offers established and emerging filmmakers, entertainment industry luminaries and the Qatari community a chance to come together in Doha, Qatar's capital, to take part in an exciting cultural exchange of ideas. 360 Kuwait launch23 July 2009Paul is heading off to Kuwait today where he will be joining Nigel to open the latest 'Entertainment Zone' in 360 Kuwait. 360 Kuwait is the largest indoor family entertainment centre in Kuwait, the latest addition to the unique retail offering of Kuwait. Paul and Nige manged the rig and light show for the launch of 'The Bowl Room' and 'Infunity'. Paul gains 0-1 Visa5 July 2009Following his work with Sparks eariler in the year, Paul is now the happy recipient of a United States 01-VISA which is designated for aliens of extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics. LD Master Class in Macau12 June 2009Following the IIFA show, Paul and Nige will be staying on at the Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel to take some hotel crew through a very special lighting design Master Class. They will be focusing on two areas, GrandMA programming which is Nige's role and 'Lighting Basics' to 'Lighting in the Real World' which Paul will be heading. |

12 June 2009Paul and Nige are now in Macau at the luxurious Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel. They are lighting and video designers for the 10th IIFA Award Show. This four hour spectacular is the biggest South Asian media event and is considered among one of the most-watched global annual events with viewing figures of around a half a billion people in 110 countries.Amongst the list of equipment they are using are 4/5 GrandMA's, and some new 'toys' - the new VL3500 Wash Luminaire from Vari Lite and others. |

5 June 2009We are pleased to say that Paul and Nigel will soon be flying to Macau as lighting designers for the Indian International Film Academy (IIFA) awards, 11-13 June 2009. Amitabh Bachchan, brand ambassador of IIFA and a host of other film celebrities will be joining them. Sparks in Japan21 April 2009Paul is heading off to Japan as Lighting Designer for Sparks. They are due to play three shows, two in Tokyo on 23 and 24 Aprila and one in Osaka on 26 April. Paul has been Lighting Designer for Sparks since 2006. Sparks at the Forum21 March 2009Paul is in London tonight lighting Sparks who are playing at The Forum. Sparks play UCLA's Royce HallFebruary 12 2009Sparks are due to play a special show in Los Angeles at UCLA's Toyce Hall on February 14, 2009. They will perform in entirety their 'Exotic Creatures of the Deep' and the classic 'Kimono my House'. Paul is flying out as Lighting Designer. |
